In the West there has been, in recent times, a progressive rediscovery of medicinal plants, seen as unitary and dynamic biochemical entities, of plant origin, the sum of several synergistic active ingredients, capable of a higher activity than their individual components. In particular, certain plants can be exploited to improve the ability to adapt to the external environment, promoting the restoration and maintenance of health and the physical, mental and emotional well-being of man in today’s world.
