E.P.I.D.® Aerosol MD

E.P.I.D.® Aerosol is a medical product whose formula has been designed to facilitate breathing in cases of colds and/or allergies.
It protects the mucosa against irritation: the resins, mucilage, and film-forming agents, including the Propolis glycerine extract and the Aloe extract, create a film (micro-gel) that hydrates the mucosa and reduces excessive secretion, protecting it against irritation and preventing contact with microbial and irritant agents. The product does not contain vasoconstrictive decongestants, does not dry the nasal mucosa, and does not create dependency.

Posology and method of administration

Detach a single-dose vial and open it by snapping off the top part, using the vial opener included in the package.
Aerosol: Without diluting it, pour the contents of the single-dose vial into the container of the aerosol device, follow the device instructions and inhale until the container is completely empty. The product can be used with all types of aerosol devices.
Use 1-2 times per day. Depending on need, the treatment can be carried out up to twice per day, morning and night until symptoms subside.

Precautions for use and warnings

The product is intended for use with aerosol equipment and is for nasal use only. Use the product in accordance with the instructions for use. Before use, check that the vial is intact. Consult a doctor prior to use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, in children younger than three years of age and during
the administration of other products for topical use in the nasal cavities. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or allergies to one or more components. Prolonged use of topical products may cause sensitisation phenomena; in case of sensitisation or irritation phenomena, it is advisable to suspend treatment and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Do not use the device past the expiry date indicated on the packaging. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged or not perfectly intact when first opened.
The Batch number and the Expiry date are shown on the box which must therefore be kept together with the vials. For further information, read the package leaflet carefully. The expiry date refers to the intact and correctly stored product. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use in children under the age of 1 year. Administration to children must be supervised by an adult. Do not use on non-intact mucosa.
